Lake Prodan is a small perennial lake afoot the dune of Qasab Village, Shaqra, Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. It has an underground natural water spring that makes the lake stand with water even for years without rain. It is a small lake or lakelet with a circumference of approximately 150 meters.
Lake Prodan is nestled south of the Golden Mountain of Qasab (Qasab Dune), 175 km north of Riyadh City. The lake is among the main attractions in this northwestern municipality of Riyadh Province, along with the Maghatya Trail, Marqab Al Rughabah, Al Ekreshiya Lake, Qasab Golden Mountain Dune, Qasab Salt Land, and the Heritage Village of Usaigher.
Come to this place filled with excitement as you drive the trail in the middle of an open desert plain or on top of the golden mountain of sands and enjoy the dune driving.

Hiring A Guide Is Recommended
It is best to have a guide fully acquainted with the route and trail; otherwise, you might lose track and get lost in the middle of nowhere.
Google's directions cannot be relied on because there is no mobile phone or internet signal when you get to the middle of the desert.
During rainy days, the risk of getting stuck into the desert mud is high because portions of the loose sands during sunny days turn into desert mud when it rains. The guide knows where to run the car and where not to.
Car Requirements
4WD with high clearance
Accessibility
Accessible by a 4WD car
Road access from the Qasab Salt Land is only a trail /track—rough and dusty during sunny periods and muddy during rainy days.
No telephone communication or internet signal
