Considered one of the main tourist sites in the province, however, it is projected to become a destination because of its unique character and location facing the Pacific Ocean. Tourism flourished after the main road connecting Siruma to the other towns of Camarines Sur was completed. The visitor influx gradually increases season by season and month by month.
Botswanan is the biggest island in Siruma Camarines Sur, Philippines, on the northeastern coast of the mainland. It is an island barangay with more than 2000 inhabitants whose primary sources of livelihood depend on fishing and agriculture.
Currently, no developed resort is operating in the area, and no accommodation facilities are available for tourists to stay overnight or for days. However, if your group plans to spend a whole day swimming, there are cottages available to rent at the beach. Solar power illuminates the island at night and supplies the power needs of the residents and visitors.
